What are words? As a child I remember the saying, “Sticks and stones can break my words but bones can never hurt me.” As I grew older I recognized that words can hurt. Words are a really effective method to communicate. Wars are battled because of the words that are used. Words can cause lies, arguments, arguments, sadness, hurt feelings, riots, fear, ill-will, dissention and misunderstandings. Words can likewise result in truth, happiness, love, happiness, peace, comfort and understandings. Words are so powerful in our daily lives, in tunes, in the written word, in what we say, in prayer and in our ideas.
My God! Simply the cumulative acknowledgment that all of us have a voice, and we select to make things as they are appears to me to be sufficient reason to get together and see what our collective wisdom can produce in the method of services. but we are here to speak about issues not actually being issues at all; aren’t we? Can we refer to problems, then, as development chances?
We recognized with the release of Tales of the Not Forgotten how starving families and churches are to resolve these concerns with kids. The VBS highlights one of the stories from Tales of the Not Forgotten, a story about a four-year-old orphan who prays and asks God for steak (and He delivers!). This story is a releasing pad to discuss abundance prayer miracles, about cravings, about orphans, about faith. It is our hope that VBS’ all over the country will stir in the hearts of the children a bold kind of faith that trusts God for responses to their questions. We hope it, along with the easy to use objective set, will help with for the instructor or moms and dad these substantive discussions that encourage children to listen to God’s heart for the nations.
My next step was to judge the message that I was receiving versus the scriptures. Therefore, I began with King David, the most notable worshiper in the Bible. David fought in many battles, sometimes taking whole prepared cities. God was devoted to deliver David’s opponents into his hands. From a young boy he became a warrior. Which leads me to the concern, “Did David’s strength to dominate nations originated from his time invested in devout worship of the Lord?” David was a man much like any believer today. Yet, he was a male who got great favor from God. The bibles teach that God is no respecter of persons. Then, did David’s driving requirement to worship God gain him the favor to become conqueror, prophet, and King of Israel?
I have actually felt myself, in talking with the Master, that He was likewise like speaking with a good friend. Never ever did I know of His divinity. As a mortal, never ever did I know what order of Sons He belonged to or had any universe knowledge whatsoever. All I knew was that Christ was my good friend, my therapist, my example of how to live life, offering energy into things that really matter– and with that, I offer you my good friend.
MICHAEL (Jesus): My enjoyed ones, what a reward to satisfy with you entirely. I would hope that you understand we have a lot of time-one on one-but being together restores memory of my resurrection days. The delight and light on the faces of my fellows brought me a grateful and complete heart. Speaking of my fellows, I am with Mary and Abraham whom I have actually known so long and the generation of love shines such a lovely light. I am with the exact same sensation with each of you. We are that close.
